The three scientists involved in the project from the University of Murcia will be Jose L. Munuera, Salvador Ruiz and Narciso Arcas. The three of them will manage the University of Murcia contribution to the project. The strengths of the group can be summarised in its experience in agricultural and green marketing, its interdisciplinary configuration with two economists and one agricultural engineer, the wide relationship of its members with agricultural companies given that the university is located in a main European region concerned with fruits and vegetables production, and their experience in applied marketing research in this sector funded with grants obtained from industry and national/regional governments.
